EV Charging

We recognise the growing acceptance and comfort among the public towards electric vehicles (EVs) as a viable alternative to traditional petrol and diesel cars. This trend is expected to gain momentum with the increasing visibility of EVs on the roads.

Typically, the AC/DC fast charge points are equipped with a foundation piece, either steel or precast concrete, which is to be embedded in a 0.6 m cubic concrete base and encased by a plinth to facilitate user access to the charge point.

The AC chargers, being more compact, are usually mounted on a small plinth at the finished ground level. Fast chargers are capable of charging a vehicle to 90% in roughly 20 minutes, whereas AC chargers require approximately 4 to 5 hours to achieve a full charge.

HVES is dedicated to participating in various renewable energy initiatives, finding this project to be perfectly aligned with our extensive experience in substation installation projects.

Over recent years, High Voltage Engineering Services has been proud to take part in the installation of these charging stations. These essential facilities are strategically placed in a variety of locations including private car parks, shopping centers, service stations, business complexes, workplaces, and on-street parking areas across the country, showcasing our commitment to advancing sustainable transportation infrastructure with professionalism and expertise.
